It allows players to choose whether they want to bet on a single number or multiple numbers. To find the winning number, the croupier spins a wheel in one direction, then spins a ball that is spinning in the opposite direction along a tilted circular track running along the outside edge of the wheel. After losing momentum and falling, the ball lands on the deflectors' circle and on to the wheel. The winnings are then transferred to any player who placed a bet that is successful.
