Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started working professionally as a teenager at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production was The Snow Queen. She played Little Red Ridinghood shortly after in the Arden Theater s Into the Woods production in which she received a Barrymore Award nomination. She reprised the role when making her Broadway d but at the age 15 with Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was recognized as one of the nominees for a Drama League Award. Molly was in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). She then attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. in Religion. During that time she had her first film role in Disney in the film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly began her career after having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly was a part of numerous regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 and the North Shore Music Theater's The Diary of Anne Frank in 2010. The Diary of Anne Frank in the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly played Anne. Molly is well known for her part in the film Paranormal Activity 2 in which she plays teenage daughter Ali as well as the ABC comedy produced by Jack burditt and featuring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
