Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in NYC on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actor has garnered many accolades in everything from the dramas of the past to suspenseful films and even adventures. Johansson is the daughter of an architect and producer, was born in New York City. Hunter and her twin brother and She were the youngest of four children. When she was a child, she developed a passion for performing and started performing in commercials by the age of seven. To enhance her skills, she attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan followed by at the Professional Children's School. At age eight she appeared with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her debut in film as Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen as a character in Just Cause (1995), but her first break occurred in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age movie about two sisters who run away. After that, she earned high praise from critics for her performance as the role of a teenager who experienced an accident which resulted in her being disfigured on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The film gained her more acclaim with the film Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. Renee Felice Smith's path into the world of entertainment started from a young age. When she was a kid, she became interested in performing. Smith landed the first of her acting gigs at the tender age of six. Smith was in a Dannon commercial on TV. Similar to other novice actresses, she honed her skills on stage. She would work in different USA productions while performing on stage with Wildflower. She graduated from her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
